Has someone tried installing 9-STABLE on i386 recently?

Under VirtualBox booting the releng ISO fails:

command(s): rndseed /var/db/entropy-file;boot
default boot twice, skipping...

Which 9.0_STABLE image did you try, exactly? I built an i386
install-image with -rnetbsd-9 source from about six hours ago, and
VirtualBox 6.1.8 boots into sysinst without any issues (other than
the "default boot twice" bit.)

June 8th or 9th, I think, based on memory and timestamp on the file.
I used the "latest" link, so I can't see it from the URL in my
download history.
